Matt Parkman is a police officer with the LAPD, He is telepath, He originally could not activate it at will, and often hears other people's thoughts accidentally. He gradually learns to elicit specific thoughts from people, Well I guess he is week, but he have an ability that lot of people could have. And its possible too that you have telepath.
